iPad!

A few months ago Blake was introduced to an iPhone App called “Shout”. It is a live sports trivia game that takes place during various college level and professional sports games. You compete against others playing that day on “Shout” and you become ranked based on your correct answers and how quickly you answer. The winners are awarded anything from money to free pizza, and various other prizes. Blake decided to play “Shout” during the Super Bowl and consequently walked away with something pretty awesome…

One of the first “Shout” questions asked the participants to predict the outcome of the Super Bowl, winning team and final score included.  Blake threw out his answer and watched the game to see what would happen. Well, let’s cut to the chase – Blake predicted that the Giants would win the Super Bowl 21 – 17…obviously he was right!!! So, for correctly guessing the score, he, along with two others who also guessed the right score, had this name entered into a drawing for the grand prize. Out of those three names they drew out Blake Harber, winning him an iPad 2!!

Blake has wanted an iPad so bad, but could never justify forking out the money for one. So, I am SO glad that he finally got his iPad, what a fun new toy!!

After Blake read the email we celebrated with a little Sparking Cider!
